8th April – Ulnes Walton Bridleways Association – ‘Wear anything Green’ -Re-arranged
15th April – Croal Spring National ride including PR’s
Visit the man EnduranceGB website to enter – Don’t forget if you want to ride the PR you will need to register as a SUPPORTER and then register your horse
6th May – Healey Dell Dawdle
12th May – Shelley Mee Memorial Ride – Rivington in-conjunction with BHS
17th June – Croal Summer Pleasure/Training Ride – Apologises, due to Forestry Commission Events process under review we cannot run this ride
8th July – Pickup Blast
Pickup Bank Blast is a lovely route consisting of bridle paths, grassy moorland tracks and quiet lanes. Fabulous views over East Lancashire! It covers areas including Oswaldtwistle, Belthorn, Hoddlesden and Pickup Bank.
28th July – Barton Pleasure Ride
This ride uses all the bridleways in the locality and quiet lanes. There are a couple of motorway bridges to cross and one is narrow but will have a steward there to help. Some of the gates will be open! It is a popular rural ride and places are always in high demand.
18th August – Waterside Parishes Charity Ride
This ride uses local bridleways in the locality and quiet roads. Several kilometres of permissive off road tracks (only available to use on this day) plus of course the beach. The bridleways have on the whole have a good surface
15th September – Formby
Its FANCY DRESS, to support Rachael Atkinson our Lancashire rider and her adventures to the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky as a GBR endurance rider, its fancy Dress, Cowboys and Indians …. get those checked shirts out and feathers lets have a laugh and don’t forget the face paint!
A fabulous ride incorporating pinewoods, sand dunes, beach, grassy paths, tree-lined dirt tracks and less than 1% roadwork. A wonderful variation of terrain for all
14th October – Medlock Valley Pleasure Ride
Medlock Valley is a varied ride with quiet country roads, farms tracks that in places are stoney and rugged. There are stretches of purpose made multi-user tracks. Some fantastic views and NO gates en route
11th November – Croal Poppy Ride – Last Lancashire Group EGB ride
Distances: 12km – 20km – 26km
Wear Your Poppy with Pride – 100 years since the end of WW!
This is a wonderful ride through the Croal-Irwell Valley incorporating woodland and parkland with no gates and no roadwork.There is ample hard standing for parking trailers and lorry’s

All the rides included on this list count towards Lancs Group Annual Kilometerage Awards. Additionally all EGB National rides and other EGB Group Social /Training rides will count.
