Lancashire E.G.B is the Lancashire branch of Endurance GB. The group aims to To stimulate greater interest and participation in endurance riding throughout Lancashire.

Endurance or Long Distance Riding is a friendly, fun sport which is available to anyone with a horse to ride. No special equipment or horse is needed, and it is all about riding through beautiful scenery and countryside, making new friends and above all else, having a good time.

One thing appealing about endurance is that for many rides you are not directly competing against anyone else - it is just you and your horse enjoying yourselves with a reward at the end!

We organise Social or Pleasure Rides, charity rides, competitive rides and social events.

STOLEN HORSE NOTICE

Dear Member Please see the details below from one of our members who has very sadly had her horse stolen. We really need to find this horse as her loss is badly affecting the owner’s health. Please keep a good look out and contact us or the police of you are suspicious of any new horses that suddenly arrive on your yard or in your area. It will be easy to verify as Starlight is microchipped. Remember; Any vet and most Horsewatch coordinators can check any horse’s status (stolen or not) by just tapping the microchip number into the NECD Check-It box on a mobile phone.

Please can you also forward this note to all of your equestrian contacts, the faster and wider it is distributed, the more chance we have of finding Starlight.

Starlight was taken between 4.30pm Friday 23rd September and 3pm Saturday 24th September from Abnalls Lane Burntwood STAFFORDHSIRE.
