If anyone who has previously organized a Charity Ride is intending to run one again this year, would they please use the attached Charity Ride Proposal Form, to book dates, bib hire and newsletter advertising.

It should help to co-ordinate dates, and collection and return of bibs etc, and also ensures that everyone is aware of, and pays for the bib hire fee and returnable deposit.

Considering the recent changes to the National Insurance Policy it is also very important that Charity Ride Organisers, and riders who enter these rides, are fully aware that Endurance GB, including Lancs Group have no responsibility whatsoever for anything concerning the running and organization of a Charity Ride. We advertise the event in our newsletter, and hire out the bibs to the organiser, but this does not indicate that we approve the ride or route in any way whatsoever. It is important that this is established, as some riders may have interpreted the fact that charity rides included in our fixture list indicate that such rides are affiliated to Endurance GB. This is not the case.
